Sexy Rinko Kikuchi at Oscar

Fashion queen Rinko Kikuchi who is the Best Supporting Actress nominee is so sexy in her revealing black Chanel dress on the red carpet before the 79th Academy Awards Ceremony at Kodak Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday. Kikuchi was nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Oscar for her role in "Babel," where she played a deaf teenager.

Kikuchi has a reputation for being fashionable. "I selected this dress because it has spirit and elegance," she said of the dress that showed off plenty of her shoulders.

Ken Watanabe, meanwhile, who appeared in "Letters from Iwo Jima," which is a Best Picture nominee, turned up for the ceremony with his wife, Kaho Minami.

"Being recognized like this brings home directly to the world (the theme of the movie)," Watanabe said of the World War II flick.
