Miss Vietnam Universe 2008 . The young, beautiful and extremely talented Nguyen was awarded this prestigious title in a beauty contest held on May 31 at Nha Trang’s Vinpearl Land resort.

Trang who is also popularly known as Lam, has won three more titles including Miss Talent, Miss Vote and Miss Best Interview, by out performing almost 17 contestants. She is a famous singer and renowned television actress who has stolen many young hearts.

On the grand and glamorous night of May 31, all the stunning beauties contested in three rounds, including Ao dai, swimsuit and evening gown, for the splendid crown.

The terrific tiara sparkled with Swarovski crystals was crafted in Singapore to adorn the already beautiful lady. Along with winning the pageant, Lam has also bagged US $12,000 as prize money.

Miss Vietnam is 1.70 meter tall and is now working much harder to represent the country, at the Miss Universe 2008 beauty pageant that is scheduled on July 14, at Crown Convention Center in Nha Trang, Vietnam.

The international event is going to be much bigger and better as contestants from various countries will take part to beat the best.
