J-pop Singer Ayumi Hamasaki Rakes in Big Bucks

Japan's most influential singer Ayumi Hamasaki (浜崎あゆみ) has recently topped a poll conducted by Flash Magazine as the country's Commercial Queen with each advertisement bringing her a reported income as high as 100 million Yen (880,000USD).

Although the 28 year Ayumi is considered a little old in Japan's young and vigorous entertainment world, she's still the country's most popular idol and her singles/albums are always in the top of J-pop music charts.
