Carol Chu Artificially Inseminated

Andy Lau 's wife, Carol Chu, is now pregnant after being artificially inseminated. Looks like Hong Kong actor-singer Andy Lau will be a father by next year. This comes after much speculation on Carol Chu's bloated stomach at the end of last month, a then possible indication that Carol Chu could be pregnant.

At the beginning of this month, Andy Lau apologized for lying about his marriage with Carol Chu, as his intention was to protect his wife from the press, as well as to uphold his image as an idol.

After the couple registered their marriage in Las Vegas on June 23 2008, Andy Lau's wife Carol Chu had started being artificially inseminated in hope of having children despite their age. Andy Lau is 48 years old while Carol Chu is 43, and it is not easy for them to conceive. Being married qualifies them for artificial insemination in Hong Kong.
