An avid Bae Yong Joon fan (52) was arrested for embezzlement yesterday after withdrawing US$9,100 from someone else’s account at the post office ATM.

According to the police, this Japanese fan has been embezzling money from other people’s accounts for the last 16 years and the estimated total is about US$2,000,000. Sadly, she started this bad habit to pay for her father-in-law’s hospital bills, but continued because she needed the money to support her Bae Yong Joon fan lifestyle ways. This fan traveled to Tokyo every time Bae Yong Joon was in town and bought all of the related products. No wonder she needed all that dough!

Who would’ve guessed that there was a thief in that crowd of Japanese ajummas always excited to greet Bae Yong Joon?  This incident brings fandom to a completely new level.
