Hong Kong actress Michelle Reis, former Miss Hong Kong, attended a fashion event Tuesday in Shanghai.

It is believed to be Reis's last public appearance before her wedding to business tycoon Julian Hui on November 23, the Shanghai Morning Post reports.

The whole event looked like a rehearsal of a wedding ceremony, in which the sponsors organized a flower girl and ring bearer to boost the atmosphere.

Reis, the spokeswoman of the brand, outshined other big names at the event in her chic crystal bridal dress. Instead of shunning the spotlight, she openly told the camera that Julian Hui knelt down to propose to her last year at her birthday party and she, touched, nodded 'yes.'

The actress declined to comment on the amount Hui's family would give her as a wedding gift.

It has been rumored that her friends from show business, like Hong Kong actor Carina Lau and Leung Tong, would be invited to the wedding. However, she dismissed the rumor, saying none of the stars from the entertainment world will be on the guest list, which only includes 50 relatives and close friends.

Reis says the two things she has been most proud of since entering the industry are winning the Miss Hong Kong title in 1988 and her impending marriage twenty years later.
