Since Hong Kong Twins member Gillian Chung  was secretly photographed half nude  while changing her bra in a backstage room during her recent concert in Malaysia in Genting Highlands last week, the whole Hong Kong entertainment world has gone berserk. Celebrities rallied together and protested the paparazzi's immoral behavior on the street. Hundreds of Hong Kong stars together with some Chinese artists lined up in front of a backdrop that said 'Privacy and Dignity, Hong Kong People's Business", condemning the culprit's nasty deeds, calling for a boycott on the tabloid magazine Easyfinder (一本便利） that published those indecent photos.


Fortunately, we got the latest news from the Malaysia Daily last night, saying that the Malaysian police has found first clues about the case and that the suspect is a middle aged man, but they refuse to give further details at this point. According to the Malaysian police, they haven't received any formal letters or calls from Hong Kong authorities yet, but they are ready to contact Hong Kong police through Interpol, asking for their cooperation. The case has been categorized into criminal code 354, according to which the criminal will be sentenced 2 years of prison.


Good to see that Malaysian authorities have taken this seriously and are acting relatively swiftly. Something we're keenly interested in is how authorities in Hong Kong plan to deal with the Tabloid 'Easyfinder'. Afterall, it’s crap tabloids like those and their readers who provide the financial incentives to paparazzi to stoop to ever lower levels to get the biggest 'money shot' of celebrities.
