Korean Girl Groups to Get Together for a TV Show

Korea's top six girl groups will get together to appear on an MBC-TV entertainment program specially arranged to celebrate the coming "Chuseok" holiday (Korean Thanksgiving Day), a news report said. According to the report, the television network will air the special program titled "Dalcomhan Girl" (Sweet Girl), which will feature a total of 27 Korean singers from six female Korean idol groups.

The six Korean girl groups are Girls’ Generation , Brown Eyed Girls, After School, Kara, 4Minute, and T-ara. Wonder Girls , who are currently in the United States, are expected to make a surprise appearance through video footage.

"Dalcomhan Girl" is a reality program that covers the golden age of girl groups in Korea now. The participants will take a city bus and visit an exotic place, competing to become a winner.

Noh Hong-cheol, Jeong Hyeong-don, and Gil of the popular Korean TV show "Moohan Dojeon" (Infinite Challenge) are to host the feature show. The show will be aired at 06:15 p.m. on Oct. 2.
