Liu Yifei Speculated to Have Signed With Ziyi Zhang's Agency
Over the weekend media throughout Asia reported that Chinese actress Liu Yifei signed with prestigious American agency William Morris. However, a quick check with Liu Yifei's management debunks the story as false. Liu Yifei has not yet signed with William Morris, but her management did confirm that they are in negotiations.
For those of you not familiar with the world of super agents, William Morris is one of the most sought after US agencies…well, at least they can't be that bad if they're the ones who've got Ziyi Zhang under contract.
Other big names like Julia Roberts, Mel Gibson are also lineup of the company.
Crystal Liu Yifei is a lead role in the movie "The Forbidden Kingdom", which co-starred by Jackie Chan and Jet Li.
Reports say the agency thinks that Liu Yifei has an outstanding appearance and acting which represents as the traditional Chinese beauty, as well as has great potential to be an international star.
The actress has already entered Hengdian World Studios, a big filming site located in eastern China's Zhejiang province, preparing for the shooting of the movie.
