You're right on point "ASIAN/FILIPINA" and "I'm Asian." It's definitely sad that most Asians have to say they're part of European (white) so they can be considered "exotic," and "more marketable and/or socially accepted" (if they're pursing acting/modeling careers) in a white-dominated industry. *ahem* Media influence.
Btw, names aren't a true indicator of ethnicity. People change them for various reasons e.g. just because, marriage, persecution (religious, ethnic, political), adoption, etc. Just be proud of your ethnic background and happily accept complements if people think you're exotic. You don't have to be a mutt (a.k.a. of mixed heritage) to be exotic or beautiful.

My lady is a filipina and she's beautiful. This girl may have some missing cultural identity, but regardless she's gorgeous and handling her thing with style and grace. Also, there should be more Asian models and less South American models, sadly, in my opinion, Brazilian ladies have been overexposed by the media. I believe the modeling industry should distribute its "exotic" models a little more evenly acros cultures.

Just my opinion, I think she definitely has some Filipina characteristics about her look. I would say she could model in the Philippines. Then, I wouldn't be able to tell most Chinese people from Japanese people, let alone all the other Asian countries. One thing is certain, she's definitely American... and more than easy on the eyes.
