Sister of Dee Hsu, she is most well-known for her roles in Taiwanese dramas, particularly in Meteor Garden, which shot her to fame. Prior to her acting career, she was in a duo female group called "S.O.S." (Sisters of Shu) with her sister Dee Hsu. After their last album, called Abnormal Girls, they decided to call themselves ASOS (Abnormal Sisters of Shu) instead.
