Jacky Cheung

Jacky Cheung's professional singing career soon after he won in an amateur singing contest back in 1984 and signed a contract with Polygram recording company (now known as Universal Music). His name was big for the next decade after that before he hit rock bottom. Luckily, Jacky Cheung Hok Yau met Michael Au who then helped him get back on the fame track with the release of a single called "I Love You More Every Day".

Ever since his comeback, Jacky Zhang Xue Yu has sold millions of copies of his albums. He was also named by Time International among the 25 most influential people in the new Hong Kong as he was one of the performers at a gala celebration hosted by the Chinese government when the colony of Hong Kong reverted to Chinese control on July 1, 1997. Jacky Cheung is also a Cantopop Heavenly King with Aaron Kwok, Andy Lau and Leon Lai.
