Kathy Chow was a former Miss HK pageant participant and during the late 80's - 90's she actively modelled and was featured in HK TVB series. Over time her roles were reduced and she went to ATV during 2000. During all this time she would occasionally be featured in HK film and appear in award shows. Kathy never worked long term for ATV and she went off to the main land for other roles.
In the last few years Kathy wasn't as active as she was, but recently appeared in a TVB anniversary show as well as featured in a new China ancient series. After a period of time in March, 2008, Chow signed on to TVB's upcoming action "E.U", the sequel to "The Academy" and "On the First Beat". Chow is also of Manchu descent.
