Tsai Chin

Tsai Chin (Cai Qin) is a pop and folk singer from Taiwan (her ancestral home is in Hubei). She sings in both Mandarin Chinese and Taiwanese Minnan and is known for her naturally magnetic rich vocals and witty persona. Her well-known hits include "Bei yiwang de shiguang" (The forgotten times), "Qiashi ni de wenrou" (Just like your tenderness), "Zuihou yi ye" (The last night), "Du ni" (Reading you), and "Ni de yanshen" (Your eyes). The peak of Tsai Chin's popularity in Taiwan was from the late 1970s to the mid-1990s but she remains popular in mainland China.
